Fatal shooting suspect, Johnston, will stand trial for murder

DuBois, PA – The man who reportedly shot another man in DuBois for having an affair with his wife will stand trial for murder.

60-year-old Glen Johnston from DuBois is accused of shooting 46-year-old Jude Srock from DuBois in a parking lot on South Franklin Street on March 17.

Srock was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the incident. Johnston had fled after the shooting but was able to be taken into custody without incident.

Reports say that Johnston had confronted Srock over an alleged affair between Johnston’s wife and Srock.

Johnston had his preliminary hearing on Wednesday and will be heading to trial for the charges.

He remains in the Clearfield County Jail, because homicide is not an offense that is eligible for bail.

His formal arraignment is set for April 27.
