PUNXSUTAWNEY – A DuBois woman is facing charges after she allegedly admitted to making a false sexual assault allegation.
According to police, on March 2nd 19 year-old Mya Capps told Punxsutawney Police that she was sexually assaulted at the Beyer Avenue Apartments at the end of February.
An investigation yielded that there was no assault and everything was consensual. On March 11th during an interview with police Capps allegedly admitted that the statement was false.
She is now facing false reports and falsification to police charges.
