FALLS CREEK – A Falls Creek duo are facing charges for allegedly turning on their residence’s water multiple times after it was shut off for lack of payment.
According to State Police, 43 year-old Daniel Confer and 35 year-old Kayla Weakland allegedly stole water services to their residence through the month of August.
The pair allegedly did not pay for services for two months and owed close to $300 dollars.
Once the Falls Creek Water Authority turned off services, they noticed the meter was active on August 15th, so it was turned off a second time. Once again the pair were able to turn the water back on, damaging the water authority’s property.
The two now face multiple misdemeanor charges related to the alleged theft. Preliminary hearings are scheduled for November 5th.
