Fall foliage reports to be available online beginning Thursday

HARRISBURG – Will the fall foliage colors be bright and beautiful this year?

You will soon have a chance to check updates on the fall colors in Pennsylvania through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources website.

Beginning Thursday, September 29th, fall foliage reports will be found at DCNR.PA.GOV. The report will be updated every Thursday.

The fall colors typically peak for several weeks throughout October.

The DCNR website will feature suggestions about the best spots to view fall foliage as well as information about fall festivals and tourism activities which brings about $45 billion into the commonwealth’s economy.
