Facility upgrades, staff additions discussed at DuBois School Board meeting

DUBOIS – Reports on facility upgrades and staff additions was the main focus at the DuBois Area School District Board meeting Thursday.

More than 30 new people have been hired to work in the district in the past year.

Also, ESSER Grant money has made it possible for a number of building upgrades, including new lighting and a new heating and air conditioner unit at CG Johnson School in Reynoldsville, upgrades to the high school’s swimming pool, and new generators for the Oklahoma and Juniata schools.
