Clearfield, Jefferson, and Elk Counties, PA – This week is filled with fantastic events, including school spring musicals, a free carnival for kids, and a spring clean-up.
Redd up the rocks! Jefferson County History Center is holding a Clean-Up Day at the Scripture Rocks Heritage Park on Saturday, April 2, 2022 starting at 9:00 AM. They will be clearing the trails of downed limbs and debris along with cleaning off the interpretive panels, picnic tables, and benches. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to help – any level of experience. Dress appropriately, bring gloves and a water bottle. We are in need of volunteers with leaf blowers, as well.

CenClear’s Child Abuse Prevention Carnival is back! Enjoy games, food, costumed characters, and get information …all for free! This year there will be two carnivals: April 2nd from 10:00am-2:00pm at the DuBois location (1 Beaver Drive) and April 9th from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Philipsburg location (580 Old Route 322).

DuBois Area High School presents Guys and Dolls, a musical fable of Broadway based on a story and characters of Damon Runyon on April 1 and 2 at 7 p.m. Tickets available at door or online. Adults $8, students/senior citizens $5.

The Saint Marys Area High School presents present Shrek, the Musical. an all-student cast! Three night of entertainment, Thursday to Sunday, March 31, April 1, and April 2. Showtimes are at 7 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door. $9 adults, $5 seniors and kids.

Grab your ticket to DuBois Central Catholic School’s latest play, “Anything Goes”! DCC’s Anything Goes is scheduled to hit the stage Friday, March 25th, Saturday, March 26th, Sunday, March 27th, Friday April 1st, and Saturday, April 2nd. Mark your calendar! Tickets are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, and $6 for kids age 11 and under. Buy your ticket by calling the DuBois Central Catholic office. Tickets must be paid for at least two days before the performance.
