ST MARYS – A St Marys student is among 30 Pennsylvania high schoolers selected as Young Ambassadors to promote environmental sustainability.
The student, identified as K. Gabler, a Saint Marys Area High School senior, will work with PennDOT and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful on litter prevention, recycling, and community cleanup efforts through May.
Officials say that you can help by properly disposing of trash and recycling when possible. PennDOT also offers volunteer opportunities through its Adopt-A-Highway program.
