ST. MARYS – The 120 Connector Project in Elk County is more than half-a-million dollars closer to becoming a reality.
Local and county officials, along with State Representative Mike Armanini and State Senator Cris Dush were recently able to secure a Commonwealth Financing Authority grant of $625,000 for the City of St. Marys. When the 120 Connector Project is completed, tractor trailers will have access to Route 120 without going through “The Diamond” in the center of downtown St. Marys.
The grant was awarded through the state’s Multimodal Transportation Fund.
