ST. MARYS – An Elk County building project has been awarded a $750,000 grant.
Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson announced Friday that the Dickinson Center Building Project in St. Marys will receive the funds from the Appalachian Regional Commission. Plans are for the consolidation of several community and health services in Elk and Cameron counties into one new downtown St. Marys facility.
Thompson noted that the project is all about improving access to high-quality care in our communities.
The Dickinson Center Building Project is expected to result in more than $7.8-million in local economic development.
