RIDGWAY — An Elk County man has been jailed on charges of selling large amounts of methamphetamine in Elk, Jefferson, and Clearfield counties.

According to the Elk County District Attorney’s Office, 29-year-old Drew Curley is being held in the Elk County Prison in lieu of $125,000 bail.

Curley is accused of buying drugs in Philadelphia and selling them locally.

He was arrested in St. Marys when he tried to sell two ounces of meth to a confidential informant.

When Curley was interviewed by police, he reportedly admitted to selling what he called “large amounts” of drugs in the Tri-County area between January and July of 2022.

Curley’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday.
