RIDGWAY – A 58-year-old Ridgway man fell to his death from a sixth story window of an apartment complex on Wednesday.
The Elk County Coroner said an autopsy has confirmed that Timothy Towne died from blunt force injuries that are consistent with a fall from that height. It was noted by the coroner that Towne’s death appears to be accidental, and no foul play is suspected.
The investigation continues into Towne’s fatal fall, and drug and alcohol use are reportedly being considered as factors in the incident.
