
DUBOIS – An Elk County man has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for his role in providing the heroin and fentanyl which killed a DuBois man.
Sandy Township Police have also charged 29-year-old Codi Hummel of Johnsonburg with delivery and possession of controlled substances. According to court documents, the victim was found dead in his bathroom on September 24th, 2021. Phone messages indicate that the victim had purchased the drugs from Hummel two days earlier, and family members and friends said the victim always purchased the drugs he used from Hummel.
A preliminary hearing dates has not yet been set.
