JOHNSONBURG – A Johnsonburg man is behind bars after allegedly stealing multiple guns and selling them for drugs.
According to police, they received reports on September 8th that the victim was missing multiple pistols, rifles, and a shotgun from their Main Street Home.
The victim believed that 25 year-old Zachary Moore, who was living with him at the time, had stolen the guns. Moore allegedly admitted to authorities that he stole the guns to pay for methamphetamines.
Moore is now in the Elk County Jail where he faces charges of theft by unlawful taking, criminal use of a communication device, and filing a false report.
