RIDGWAY – One Elk County holiday tradition of more than 40 years is coming to an end.
The “Christmas Day Happening,” which took place at the Ridgway Fire Hall on Christmas Day last Sunday, will be the last one.
Co-founder of the event Karen Lundin told those who attended this year’s festivities that Ridgway’s “Christmas Day Happening” is being discontinued.
Lundin and Lila Sprague organized the first event in Ridgway in 1982.
