ST. MARYS – Assault, strangulation, and reckless endangerment charges have been filed against an Elk County couple following a fight outside of the St. Marys Eagles Club.
According to St. Marys Police, Michael and Stephanie Young allegedly assaulted two women in the club’s parking lot a month ago. The Youngs are accused of using a stun gun during the fight, hitting both victims, grabbing the throat of one of them, smashing a phone, and damaging the victims’ vehicle. One of the victims was treated for a brain bleed, ruptured spleen, and a broken rib at Penn Highlands DuBois. The other victim was treated for shoulder pain at Penn Highlands Elk.
Both 44-year-old Michael Young and his wife, 40-year-old Stephanie Young, are scheduled to have their preliminary hearings on multiple charges on May 21st.
