Election results: 2022 primary elections for Clearfield, Jefferson, Elk

Clearfield County, PA – Results are being tallied for the 2022 primary elections.

This is a primary, which sets the stage for which candidates will represent the Democrat and Republican parties on the November ballot for each seat.

Some of the contested seats this year are Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Senator, Representative, and Congressional Representative.

Check back for further results as the night continues.

All results are pending the official certification from the Board of Elections.

With votes being counted in precincts across the state, the frontrunners for the Governor seat are currently Democrat Joshua Shapiro and Republican Douglas Mastriano.

The current candidates with a large lead in the U.S. Senate primary is Democrat John Fetterman, and Republicans Mehmet Oz and David McCormick are in a close race.

On the Lieutenant Governor ballot, the current leads are being held by Democrat Austin Davis and Republican Carrie Delrosso.

As for the House Representative in the General Assembly for the 73rd Ward, Dallas Kephart is currently in the lead in Clearfield County.

Keep in mind, these are the current frontrunners for the Primary Election.

Winning in the primary election does not secure a candidate that seat, but it does secure them a place on the ballot in November.
