UNDATED – The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is warming you of a EBT text message scam plaguing the Commonwealth.
People have been receiving text messages claiming their EBT was deactivated and urges them to reactivate their benefits by calling a number.
The DHS says that you would never receive a text about EBT benefits and to contact their tip line at 1-844-347-8477 if this happens to you.
