Duo Accused of Recording Police Investigation

CLEARFIELD – Two are facing charges after allegedly recording during routine investigation proceedings at the Clearfield Regional Police Department.

According to police on February 23rd 66 year-old Carolyn Johnson arrived at the police station to get fingerprinted for a previous arrest.

Police say that 37 year-old Cricket Johnson, who was accompanying Carolyn allegedly began audio recording on a cell phone before placing it into a coat pocket.

When questioned Cricket failed to identify herself.

They are both now being charged with interception, disclosure or use of wire, electronic or oral communications. Cricket is also facing obstruction charges
