DUBOIS – Theft-related charges have been filed against a DuBois woman and Reynoldsville man for their alleged involvement in a scrap metal scam.
According to court documents, State Police have accused 30-year-old Kayleigh Huzsek and 43-year-old Dustin Wolfe of falsifying weigh slips at a Tri-County area auto salvage business. An investigation of video camera surveillance of two separate transactions at the business lead to charges being filed against the suspects.
Huzsek is facing a charge of conspiracy of theft of scrap metal while Wolfe’s charge is theft of scrap metal.
Both are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on June 13th.
