PUNXSUTAWNEY— A DuBois woman is accused of theft for accepting more than $2,000 in Covid-related rental assistance she was not eligible to receive.
According to court documents, 57-year-old Terri Krueger has been charged with four felony counts by the PA Office of State Inspector General. Krueger allegedly applied for Emergency Rental Assistance at Community Action in Punxsutawney in 2022. An investigation revealed that Krueger had already applied for and received assistance from the program in Clearfield County, and her statewide eligibility had been exhausted.
Krueger’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 18th.
