DUBOIS — Charges of aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence of drugs have been filed against a 28-year-old DuBois woman.
Sandy Township Police report that Katie Kilmer is accused of crashing her Jeep head-on into a pickup truck on Route 255 in September. The wreck resulted in severe injuries to the driver and passenger of the pickup truck.
An ongoing investigation has revealed that Kilmer tested positive for multiple drugs in her system, and she allegedly told police that she snorted heroin and meth in her vehicle prior to the wreck.
Following her arraignment Friday, Kilmer was lodged in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
