DuBois Weather Delays

DUBOIS – With the constant bombardment of rain and inclement weather we have been getting, city crews are a little behind in their schedule.

According to Public Works Superintendent Scott Farrell, this weather has made his crews fall behind on some projects.

“It’s just restricted a lot of the stuff we would normally do,“ explained Farrell. “Getting the cold patch out, getting our flood control maintained, we can’t take the heavy machines in because the ground is so soft. It’s hard because you can only do these things when it’s not pouring down rain.”

In the end, Farrell says that ultimately his team will get their projects completed.
