DUBOIS – You are invited to kick off the holiday season in DuBois for Downtown DuBois’ “Brighten the Night” tonight.

Beginning at 6pm at the Edward V. Cherry Amphitheater you can enjoy a variety of events, filling the evening with holiday cheer.

We have several different organizations that will have booths set up with hot cocoa, hot cider, cookies, treats, you name it,” explained Downtown DuBois Executive Director Shirley Dahrouge. “The Grinch will be lurking around, and obviously the grand arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.“

In addition to festive music, Matt Reed of First Class Children’s Foundation will share a special reading of The Night Before Christmas, followed by Santa and the lighting of the DuBois Christmas tree, officially welcoming the holiday season.
