DUBOIS – New sidewalk construction is about to begin in the City of DuBois and Sandy Township next week, we look at how this may affect your commute.
PennDOT announced that starting Monday the 26th crews will begin installing a new sidewalk along Maple Avenue and Shaffer Road.
Between the intersection of Seventh Street and Shaffer road on Maple Avenue crews will work on sidewalks, curb installation, pavement markings, and drainage improvements, and the same work will be done from Shaffer to Beaver Meadow Walkway
Alternating lane closures will happen during this time, with flaggers providing traffic control while crews are working in the area.
All construction is expected to be complete by October.
