DUBOIS – The DuBois Senior Little League Baseball Team is headed to the Senior League World Series.

After beating Massachusetts Tuesday in the final round of the East Region Tournament, they are now advancing to the World Series in Easley, South Carolina. They were sent off Wednesday morning by a crowd of parents, community members, police, and fire departments.

As Head Coach Tim Kail says this is an exciting time for the team.

“They’re on a high right now,“ stated Coach Kail. “They’re having a ball, and I’m happy for them, they deserve it. And the parents are amazing, everybody, the whole community is amazing the way they support us. So I hope to get down there and kick butt like we’ve been doing.”

DuBois is currently set to play their first game at 9am Saturday morning against Illinois. You can catch that game live on ConnectFM.
