DUBOIS – The DuBois School District is moving forward with their next three-year comprehensive plan, guiding the district through 2029.

Director of Curriculum Jen Taylor says that this plan replaces the current one expiring in July and focuses on strengthening existing supports, improving English Language Arts through structured literacy, expanding career readiness, and adding a new emphasis on professional development.

“When we know we have specific measurable goals and we’re asked to do things that are outside the bounds of what those goals would cover, we can say that’s not our focus at this point in time,” explained Taylor “We can look at that down the road, but that’s not where we are right now.”

The plan is now posted on the district’s website, with public feedback accepted through March 31st.
