DuBois School Board Seeking Grants/Approve New Projects

DUBOIS – The DuBois School Board approved several grant requests and projects this week.

The biggest items include over $6.8 million dollars in state grants requests for HVAC and LED lighting upgrades at the middle school.

The board also approved $55,000 dollars for new high school theater curtains, nearly $9,840 dollars for stage risers at Oklahoma Elementary School, and the Riverview Intermediate Unit budget, which increases DuBois Area’s share by $89 dollars.

Several summer programs were also approved, including STEM Camps at Penn State DuBois, special education services, and middle school summer school.
