DUBOIS – A possible renovation project which would add a wellness center to E.J. Mansell Stadium was a main topic of discussion at Thursday’s DuBois Area School Board’s work session.
Such a project would cost more than $2-million. It would add a weight room, yoga station, locker rooms, rooms for the music department and band, and include the required HVAC and plumbing upgrades.
Other projects that need attention include roof work on the administration building, plus maintenance on the the high school tennis courts, and the football field’s turf.
It was noted that the school district has nearly $6-million in reserve.
