DUBOIS – October 14th at DuBois Schools will now be known as E.J. Mansell Day.

Every year choral students learn of E.J. Mansell and his efforts towards the school district when learning the district’s Alma Mater.

Now 60 years after the football stadium was named after Mansell, October 14th will honor this key figure, educating all students of this integral role model at the school.

“When they go past the stadium on the boulevard and they see the name E.J. Mansell, they will now a little bit more about who that man was, what he did for the school district, and what he did for the community of DuBois,“ explained Middle School Chorus Director Rebecca Sensor.

This initiative passed the school board unanimously.
