DUBOIS – The DuBois City Council decided Tuesday night to move forward with an interim manager proposition.
All of this stems from the announcement that the current Manager Shawn Arbaugh was resigning at the beginning of December.
We spoke with Arbaugh about the newly proposed interim manager.
“We had three proposals from three companies they have delivered to us,“ explained Arbaugh. “We reviewed the proposals, went through them and selected Kafferlin Strategies as the next interim management company. They have a great team of people that the City Council and Board of Supervisors believe that are going to take us forward and help us move into consolidation.”
The process of bringing the proposed firm on board needs to first be approved by the Sandy Township Board of Supervisors, and have the required DCED funding.
