DUBOIS – The DuBois Rotary Club is beginning to plan next year’s community project, honoring the country’s 250th birthday and the consolidation of DuBois and Sandy Township.

Planning for one of their biggest projects yet, the Rotary Club went to the DuBois City Council asking if they would work together to bring one of these projects to reality.

While no official plans have been officially started, the nonprofit had some ideas, such as creating a landmark liberty bell replica for the city building or park, creating a beautification project, or even planting 250 trees.

The Rotary Club has until the end of August to submit their plan to get some extra funding.
