DuBois Regional Airport Awarded $3 Million for Runway Improvements

The DuBois Regional Airport is set for a major upgrade after the Clearfield-Jefferson Counties Regional Airport Authority accepted more than $3 million in federal grants.

The funding will be used to resurface the airport’s main runway—last paved in 2000—as well as repave taxi lanes. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2026, with weekend closures planned to help minimize flight disruptions.
