DUBOIS – The DuBois Area School District’s READY Program is working to keep students local by connecting them with career opportunities close to home.
READY Director Brad Lashinsky says the region loses about four percent of its population every decade, making workforce development critical for area businesses and the local economy.
“Our students are our future, so that is why we’re so excited about the READY program,” explained Lashinsky.
The READY program ultimately focuses on entrepreneurship and preparing the next generation to enter the workforce.
