DuBois Police Chief warns to check kids’ phones

DuBois, PA – Do you know what your child is doing on their cell phone?

DuBois City Police Chief Blaine Clark stopped by recently to remind families to check their kids’ phones and have the tough conversations about the dangers of sharing photos or talking with strangers.

Do research about some of the common ways that photos and messages can be hidden on phones, making sure that your child isn’t hiding something that could be potentially dangerous.

For example, some apps might be titled if they are a calculator or the phone’s settings button. Instead, they might truly be an app for concealing images.
