DuBois Police Chase Ends in Arrest.

DUBOIS – A routine traffic stop led into a high speed chase in DuBois Wednesday morning.

According to State Police, a trooper noticed 44 year-old Stephen Pardee, who was wanted on an active warrant, turning onto SR 322.

When troopers attempted to pull the vehicle over, Pardee allegedly drove off after initially pulling over for authorities.

According to the criminal complaint, Pardee allegedly turned onto a private dirt road then onto West Liberty Road where he began throwing nails and screws at police vehicles.

After a PIT maneuver attempt he allegedly pulled over and ran on foot. Officers were able to apprehend Pardee and take him into custody.

He is now at the Clearfield County Jail where he faces aggravated assault, DUI, reckless endangerment, and around 50 traffic violations.
