DUBOIS – The City of DuBois has passed their 2025 budget with some increases.
Next year’s budget will not include any major tax changes beyond adjusting for the Clearfield County millage rates.
With consolidation just around the corner, some rates are going up to align with Sandy Township.
One rate was sewer going up $2 dollars per thousand gallons, a proposition that councilman Elliot Gelfand said no to.
“I agree that we were trying to keep costs down for consolidation,“ explained Gelfand. “That’s why I voted no against it.”
In the end, the 2025 budget passed with the increase.
