DUBOIS – DuBois offers the community a plethora of outdoor activities for you to enjoy.
From the city parks, multiple baseball fields, a community pool, to the extensive trails and walkways, there is plenty for you to take advantage of.
To help city finances and upkeep of these areas, City Manager Lisa Hagberg believes that we could do more to advertise our areas.
“The board responsible for good stewardship of the parks, they really need to embark on a planning process,“ explained Hagberg. “Watching every dollar, taking advantage of every grant funding opportunity.”
In the end, Hagberg believes these outdoor activities are a gem of our community.
