CLEARFIELD – A DuBois man who is already serving state prison time for robbery was sentenced again this week on drug charges.

According to court documents, 28-year-old Matthew Pearson II pleaded guilty to felony drug possession on Tuesday, and he was sentenced to an additional nine months to three years. This is on top of the six month to five year prison term Pearson is currently serving. DuBois Police filed the charges against Pearson after finding more than two grams of methamphetamine on his person last year.

Pearson was also convicted for his part in assaulting and robbing a DuBois man of over $4,000 in 2022.
