DUBOIS – A DuBois man will spend up to 13 years in State Prison after pleading guilty to six separate cases including leading police on a high speed chase.
We previously reported in March of 2025 that 46 year-old Stephen Pardee fled from police at high speeds while throwing nails at police vehicles.
Police performed a PIT maneuver, at which point he fled on foot before being taken into custody.
He was also facing other separate charges for firearms, multiple thefts, and damaging property.
Now, he has pleaded guilty but mentally ill, he was sentenced to spend between 32 months to 13 years in State Prison. The guilty but mentally ill plea means he will be housed in a facility that can treat him for his mental health.
