DuBois man rams police vehicle, flees and hits other car, eventually caught in woods

Huston Township, PA – A DuBois man is facing multiple charges after police say he intentionally rammed into the front of a state trooper’s vehicle, fled from the scene, struck another vehicle, and eventually was caught after a short foot pursuit through the woods.

29-year-old Corey Bigelow from DuBois had been in a suspicious vehicle that State Police from DuBois were called to investigate Sunday night at the Dollar General store in Penfield.

He reportedly used his SUV to ram into the front of a State Police vehicle, then fled onto Route 255.

Bigelow reportedly then struck another vehicle that was on Hickory Road waiting to turn onto Route 255.

Bigelow’s SUV went into the woods, where it got stuck in the snow.

He fled on foot but was quickly captured by troopers.

A female passenger was also taken into custody.

Bigelow faces charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, DUI, and various other traffic violations.
