CLEARFIELD – A 35-year-old DuBois man pleaded guilty this week to a misdemeanor charge of attempted corruption of minors and he received a time-served sentence.

According to Clearfield County Court documents, Kyle Logan had originally been charged last fall with several felonies for allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to someone he thought was an underage girl.

Logan was actually sending messages to a decoy working with the 814 Pred Hunters group.

On Monday, Logan was sentenced to 125 days-to-one year in the county jail, two years’ probation, and he was ordered to complete sex offender counseling and not have any unsupervised contact with minor girls.

There have been at least 15 cases filed in Clearfield County as a result of the child protection efforts of 814 Pred Hunters.
