SANDY TWP. – A DuBois man will face a county court trial on charges of strangulation, assault, and resisting arrest following his alleged attack on a Sandy Township woman last month.

According to DuBois City Police, 28-year-old Dustin Notto pushed, hit, and punched the victim several times and then tried to choke her.

As a police officer was arresting Notto he reportedly pulled away and tried to jump off a porch and escape.

Notto waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Friday.

He is being held in the Clearfield County Jail with bail set at $50,000.
