PUNXSUTAWNEY – Assault, strangulation, and reckless endangerment charges are moving forward against a DuBois man in Jefferson County Court.
Police have accused 39-year-old Charles Smith of assaulting his wife with a box cutter and threatening her with a pistol.
Smith waived his right to a preliminary hearing last week.
He is currently free on cash bail.
