SYKESVILLE — A 44-year-old DuBois man is facing harassment charges for allegedly sending a message through a social media site.
According court documents in Jefferson County, Scott Lines had been told by police two different times to not communicate with the victim, a Sykesville woman. In 2022,
Lines had been charged with two counts of harassment and pleaded guilty to one of the charges. But Sykesville Police are accusing Lines of contacting the victim through a social media site six weeks ago.
Lines has a preliminary hearing scheduled for December 19th.
