DuBois man charged after allegedly firing gun in house

SNYDER TWP – A DuBois man who allegedly fired a gun inside a house during an argument now faces charges of terroristic threats and reckless endangerment.

State Police say 34-year-old Robert MacReady was heavily intoxicated when got into a heated argument with a woman at a Jefferson County residence.

MacReady reportedly went into a bedroom and shot a single 9-millimeter round into the wall.

It is also alleged that MacReady told the victim to lie to the police about the gun being fired inside the Snyder Township house.

According to court documents, MacReady is currently free on $20,000 bail, and he awaits a preliminary hearing on the charges.
