DuBois man caught with large amount of drugs to have hearing this Friday

DuBois, PA – A DuBois man who was caught with a large amount of drugs and cash in his vehicle during a traffic stop will have his hearing later this week.

33-year-old Christopher Poling from DuBois had been pulled over by last Sunday.

After smelling a strong odor of marijuana, police searched Poling and his vehicle.

They eventually seized a total of six pounds of marijuana, a half a pound of methamphetamine, four ounces of psilocybin mushrooms, more than $5,000 in cash, 63 9mm ammunition rounds, a pipe and grinder, and what appears to be a ledger with two names and dollar amounts on it.

Poling is being held at the Clearfield County Jail on $250,000 bail.

He’ll have his preliminary hearing this Friday, Jan. 22.
