Reynoldsville, PA – A DuBois man is being accused of the sexual assault and rape of a 5-year-old girl in Reynoldsville.
38-year-old William Dean Rockwell faces felony charges in connection with the sexual abuse of a little girl he had been babysitting in October.
Police received reports of the abuse in November, and the young girl was interviewed about the abuse. The report includes many heartbreaking details about the supposed “game” that Rockwell allegedly disguised the abuse as.
According to the criminal complaint, he reportedly admitted to doing meth that day while babysitting. Troopers also say that Rockwell made disturbing comments, saying that the little girl “made him feel like nobody ever made him feel before” and that “the worst part was that he would never get to see her again”.
Rockwell was arraigned on Dec. 23 and is currently lodged in the Jefferson County Jail on $200,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 23.
