PUNXSUTAWNEY – A former school bus driving is facing multiple charges after allegedly inappropriately talking with minors in Punxsutawney.
Police say that DuBois native, 59 year-old Robert Lerch, was working as a school bus driver for Punxsutawney schools where incidents of him allegedly talking inappropriately with minors was captured on the bus’ surveillance system in October.
The alleged conversations included a variety of topics ranging from hygiene products and student’s bodies, to explaining adult entertainment to elementary aged students.
Lerch was subsequently let go from his position and is now facing up to six misdemeanor corruption of minors offenses.
