DuBois Man Accused of Fleeing Police

DUBOIS – A DuBois man is facing charges after allegedly fleeing from police and striking light poles and cars Wednesday.

Police say they noticed 40 year-old Jason Schoening driving around South Franklin Street with a broken tail light.

When police attempted a traffic stop he allegedly fled at high speeds at which point police terminated their pursuit.

Later police learned that he allegedly hit someone’s parked car and a pole leaving behind the vehicle’s bumper.

Police also learned that Schoening was also driving without a license and had an active warrant. He is now facing multiple charges related to the incident.
