DuBois man accused of assault, harassment, and resisting arrest

DUBOIS – A 40-year-old DuBois man is facing multiple charges for allegedly threatening his neighbor, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

According to the DuBois City Police, Dennis Morley was harassing and making threatening remarks to his neighbor at a West Long Avenue home. When officers arrived on scene, Morley reportedly showed signs of being very drunk and made aggressive movements toward them. As he was being placed under arrest, Morley allegedly fought with police officers and kicked one of them.

Charges against Morley include aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, harassment, and public drunkenness.

The preliminary hearing for Morley is scheduled for September 22nd.
